"if you're getting the 'free breakfast' i'd call them beforehand to ask if it's "CONTINENTAL" or "CANADIAN" - each morning it seemed to vary depending on who was working the front desk/handing out the b'fast coupons. the hotel itself was absolutely perfect for our needs for 3 nights in vancouver for the vancouver folk music festival - it's a GREAT location since it's NOT in the downtown/business district area - quite close to granville island, and there's copious amounts of shopping/food (huge 24 hour drugstore across the street even) within easy walking distance. the room was clean, the bathroom had some INCREDIBLE water pressure, and the beds were comfortable. overall a wonderful experience."

*This hotel will undergo renovations on the exterior of the building from mid February until late March of 2006. Rooms with views of the city will be unavailable during this time. No disruption to guest services is anticipated. The recently renovated Park Plaza Downtown Vancouver is centrally located approximately 12 kilometres (8 miles) from Vancouver Airport and near several attractions and restaurants. Each comfortable guestroom has a balcony. Guests will enjoy complimentary passes to the fitness club. The hotel also features a pub with live music.
